Erin Smith's AVON Breast Cancer 3-Day PledgePage
I am walking 60 miles with 50 other women in the Chicago AVON's Breast Cancer 3-Day. I have recruited courageous woman from all over the country to walk with us...including my Mom and Aunt.
On June 14-16,2002, I’ll be participating in a very special and powerful event in the fight against breast cancer. It’s called AVON’s Breast Cancer 3-Day.
Because of my committment to fitness and my promise on the Oprah Winfrey Show to "Get with the Program", I have recruited a team in Chicago. We also have a team in San Francisco and Seattle!! Please join us...follow the links.
We will walk from Kenosha, WI to downtown Chicago. The AVON effort hopes to raise over 25 million dollars for awareness and early detection of breast cancer. The net proceeds from the event will benefit Avon’s Breast Cancer Awareness Crusade, a non-profit initiative of Avon Products, Inc. In partnership with the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO), grants are awarded to non-profit organizations that educate women about the facts of breast cancer, and the benefits of early detection and treatment
Why am I doing this?
I am walking for all of my friends and family that have suffered from this disease. These women are courageous and I am honored to raise money for the cause.
My goal is to personally raise $10,000 and my team is trying to raise $200,000!!
